At 19 years old, she’s at least one of the youngest crown winners since state-level pageants came to Jackson nearly 70 years ago. With her talent being a jazz dance routine to “What’s Going On?” by the 1990s band 4 Non Blondes, she’s the second queen in nearly three decades whose talent isn’t a vocal performance with only 2015 s Hannah Robinson being the only other one to win. But also, she’s the first state queen who is a first-generation American.
